The power of this Laser / Punch is controlled by the most up to date computer enabling us to cut from wafer thin material up to 12mm mild and 8mm stainless steels, as well as 6mm aluminium, all to a guaranteed accuracy of 0.1mm on a sheet capacity of 5000mm x 1520mm.

By changing the gases we can produce an edge finish on stainless steel as clean as the virgin material, this is particularly helpful on production for the medical, laboratory and food industries.

Formet's expertise in program preparation is again supported by the most up to date software. This enables us to optimise the use of raw materials, to place components within larger ones, to move and rotate parts. This is carrried out directly from customers drawings or email us your own DXF files.
